      The complaint of joint pain and back pain stemming from OA, will be one of the most frequent complaints that lead patients to visit physicians at the clinic. The
pathophysiology of OA, as has been described above, is far more complicated than simply “wearing out” of the cartilage. Rather, there is a complex interplay of imbalances in the synthesis and degradation of structural components, along with the injurious influence of mechanical forces, that results in the failure of the joint as an organ.
